We haven’t shared Shabbat with our friends at Beth Shalom B’nai Zaken Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation since before the pandemic. Happily we will do so again at their synagogue at 6601 S. Kedzie Avenue in Chicago. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. We will not hold services at Am Yisrael that morning. Specific details will be forthcoming as we near the date. In the meantime, please advise Cantor Simon, cantorsimon@amyisrael.org if you plan to attend and if you would be willing to drive other congregants who require transportation.
