Bet (Second Grade) - Messages
- Ms. Cooper’s message:
- The students decided to divide the tzedakah money they brought in this year between the Save My Hungry Children, JUF, Keshet, The Ark and the Israel Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We concluded the SJS year on Sunday, June 2nd by cleaning up the classroom in preparation for the end of year/next year. We had a party celebrating reaching our last tzedakah goal. We enjoyed a final Tefillah,
Hebrew session and closing assembly. - Ms. Cooper's Parent Prompt:
- Ask your child what s/he liked best about his/her year at Am Yisrael SJS.
- Ms. Cooper's Homework Assignment:
- Have a great summer! Please practice Hebrew reading using the following link: http://www.behrmanhouse.com/click-and-read-free is not a mandatory summer assignment but will certainly help students maintain Hebrew reading skills learned this year.
- Mrs. Bodansky's Music message:
- As we are concluding our musical journey, we reviewed songs we learned this year. Here are songs we sang this Sunday: Od Yavo Shalom, Am Yisrael, Oseh Shalom (by S. Carlebach), Ivdu Et Hashem, Shiru Shir, Hinei Ma Tov (by R. Recht), Kol Ha'Olam Kulo.
